We at Fatboy Construction recently broke ground for a custom construction home in Steilacoom, Washington.
Here is a front view of the home. A large wrap-around porch will soon be constructed, giving the home a welcoming, traditional feel. We are nearly ready to start adding the siding as well.
This project is coming together rapidly, with the plumbing and electrical already installed and inspections completed.
We also have installed attractive Milgard windows throughout the house.
We are currently awaiting the framing inspection. After that, we’ll be able to insulate and install sheet rock.
When the owners enter their new home, they’ll be greeted by this cozy fireplace, located in the main living area.
One of the special touches to this home is the sizable balcony that spills out from the Master Suite.
Another unique space is the bonus room, which is directly above the garage.
For convenience purposes, we opted to install the water heater and furnace in the bonus room, tucked away from the home’s main living spaces.
